I don't think it's too op, maybe a liitle bit but not too much. The only problem is now EVERYONE is sniping, And it's being one shot to the head it's very annoying, Everytime you shoot someone there is a MF wathcing you ready to one shot you. The balance of snipers now is awful. everwhere there is a sniper. That's the only problem in my opinion.

Good stuff. Im still struggling vs controller players, they dont seem to miss anyshots. What settings do you use to minimize gunsmoke/flash and increase visibility in the dark? I game on OLED and with HDR, cranked darkness up and still cant always see my targets.

I use 1.5 3200 dpi with 65℅ target and scope sense

I think we've come to the point where "Warzone" and "Resurgence" need to be completely separated. The "casuals" that play Rebirth over warzone because of the obvious are generally the players that bitch about every weapon that comes along that destroys them because they don't know how to play warzone (for the same reasons) and don't think it's fair that whatever it is destroys them in a content mode that's literally meant for casual's. Add back a real ranked to actual Warzone. Remove WARZONE name title from Resurgence. Limit the weapons available in Resurgence like they do attachments. This will remove bitching about "OP" weapons that aren't. Teach people to read again. It may not help, but they'd realize that the KAR98K is not in the sniper category but in the Marksman Rifle category. MR's have 1/3rd the range and kill ability than their Sniper counterparts. Removing the KAR98K from Resurgence would stop 90% of the bitching about it. Removing any weapon that's bitched about from Resurgence will stop 90% of the bitching about OP Weapons. "Warzone" as its own property has been severely impacted by the casual's Resurgence when it was introduced and allowed to remain as a mode. As long as resurgence remains a mode in Call of Duty as a whole it will be the primary aggravator to nerfs that aren't necessary because that island is literally so tiny technically snipers shouldn't be allowed to be used on the map because of THEIR range. The ONLY solution is to remove weapons that are claimed to be OP from resurgence and then see what the long time supporters of the franchise have to say about these weapons in Warzone which is where the KAR98/K and other weapons should be gauged due to the size and necessities of a large full sized map.

they gun seems okay not overpowered but i will consistently die to long range builds holding angles and having the most perfect tracking so they get 3 shots off like it’s nothing idk if it’s aim assist or evb just has amazing aim but it’s annoying, i was enjoying finally having a sniper tha has quick ads and damage

Yeah the Kar is really good, but I think if they buffed a few other long range weapons, then we would likely see more variety. The problem is that the Kar is just far better than every other alternative weapon.

i dont think the kar needs a nerf maybe lower the AA on it im a controller player myself, but i think mostly the people complaining about it dont know how to move to avoid getting one shot, but i think it can be more balanced with a one shot

I've always enjoyed watching Strafe but with that said, the whole state of this game has me questioning everything and everyone. 4:00 minute mark, look how "sticky" his aim is. I swear when I'm playing my curser is not locking on like that. Kar is good imo, and doesn't need nerf. It's cheaters that need to be nerfed and sledgehammer should be spending all their money and resources on that. Sniping is hard enough when you have players with assault rifles locking on to you.

AA needs to go on the Kar, it makes even the most casual player hit shots consistently, headshots as well. But what they got to do is make all bolt action rifles one shot without explosive rounds, we need to see more weapon variety in WZ.

The kar98 is slightly over powered, but they should start by nerfing it's aim assist before totally destroying the gun.
